Projects & Clients:
Measured Progress, Inc. needed the Center's specialized expertise in educational assessment and accountability to complement the professional services it offers its own clients. Measured Progress has called upon the expertise of the Center to provide consulting services on an ongoing basis. The Center has worked with Measured Progress on a range of tasks. These include:
- Consulting to Measured Progress' Technical Advisory Committee. The committee consists of measurement professionals that advise Measured Progress on all clients and projects
- Consulting to the Louisiana Educational Assessment Program Technical Advisory Committee
- Public relations and technical publications for assessment systems for Louisiana, Maine, and Wyoming
- Development of social studies multiple-choice and constructed-response assessment items, with supporting materials, for Louisiana and New Hampshire
- Workshops to train local educators in Iowa to develop, write and review language arts multiple-choice and constructed-response items
