Juan D'Brot elected to the Executive Committee of JCSEE

Senior Associate Juan D'Brot serves as the National Council for Measurement in Education's (NCME) representative on the Joint Committee for Standards in Educational Evaluation (JCSEE). During the most recent 2019 annual meeting, he was elected to the Executive Committee. He continues to support the JCSEE's strategic communications and outreach efforts. Juan is able to draw on his expertise in evaluation as well as measurement to support NCME and the wider field.

The JCSEE's mission is to develop and promote standards for conducting high-quality evaluations through the use of the Program Evaluation Standards. The Joint Committee recruits high visibility member organizations to help promote the integration of high quality evaluation methodologies into existing and emerging organizational initiatives. In addition to the development and promotion of evaluation standards, the JCSEE also encourages evaluators to support the American Evaluation Association’s evaluator competencies to help promote evaluation capacity building.
