Evidence of Improvement: Guidelines to Inform Exit Criteria for ESSA State Accountability Systems

This paper, supported by the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), provides guidance to help states develop and validate exit criteria for schools identified as needing Comprehensive Supports and Improvements (CSI) or Additional Targeted Supports and Improvement (ATSI) under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
